Do you have symptoms of deficiencies in any of these 54 categories?
Some symptoms of nutritional deficiencies that relate to the head:

Hair | Eyes | Ears | Nose | Headaches | Mouth | Memory | Skin | Cravings | Depression/Irritability| Fatigue

Many of the 392 questions of the nutritional analysis relate to the head. These are a few examples of the imbalances that may be indicated. Note that having one or two symptoms of an imbalance does not mean that you have an imbalance in that area. Everyone has a few symptoms -- that is normal. What is important is to determine whether you have more symptoms in any area than is normal for you, in which case a deficiency is likely iindicated. Each person has a different "normal" level of symptoms -- a baseline --and this is calculated by analyzing your answers to the whole questionnaire.

For instance, dry hair could be a factor in Underactive Thyroid (40 other possible symptoms); Vitamin A deficiency (18 other possible symptoms); Iodine deficiency (13 other possible symptoms); Essential Fatty Acids deficiency (17 other symptoms); Vitamin E deficiency (14 other symptoms); or Amino Acids deficiency (17 other symptoms). Brittle hair could be a factor in most of the above as well as Silicon (15 other symptoms). Dull/lifeless hair could also be a factor in Vitamin B-6 imbalance (19 other symptoms). Dandruff could be related to low Vitamin B-2 (19 other symptoms) or Biotin (17 other symptoms) imbalances. Thinning/falling hair could be a factor in low Amino Acids (17 other symptoms), Underactive Thyroid (40 other symptoms) or Liver/Gall Bladder stress (15 other symptoms).

Do your eyelids often feel gritty, like there is sand under them. This could be related to an Essential Fatty Acids (17 other symptoms) or vitamin B deficiency (there are eight B vitamins). If you have dark circles under your eyes it could be a symptom of Allergies (33 other symptoms), Liver (15 other symptoms) stress or Vitamin B-12 deficiency (23 other symptoms). Dry eyes could be a symptom of low Essential Fatty Acids levels (17 other symptoms) or Vitamin A deficiency (18 other symptoms).

A ringing sound in the ears could be related to Caffeine overload (10 other symptoms). A diagonal crease in the earlobe could indicate a predispositon for Circulation problems (16 other symptoms).

A chronic, runny nose could be a sign of Allergies (but there are 33 other allergy symptoms to also consider). Do you catch colds or the flu easily? It could be a symptom of low Vitamin C levels (21 other symptoms), or even stress, which makes many imbalances worse. Fortunately, there are several nutritional suggestions for helping you deal more effectively with stress.

Cracks or sores in the corners of your mouth could indicate low Essential Fatty Acid levels (17 other symptoms) or low levels of certain B Vitamins (there are eight B vitamins and a total of 179 symptoms for all the B vitamins). A white coating on your tongue could be a sign of a sluggish Colon (8 other symptoms) or Candidiasis (24 other symptoms). Dry mouth or tongue might indicate Liver stress (15 other symptoms). A sore tongue could be a sign of low B vitamins (as mentioned above, there are lots and lots of other symptoms for B Vitamin deficiency to consider). If your throat feels tight and sore when you get upset, your Adrenal glands (34 other symptoms) may be out of balance.

Headaches could be sign that you're not drinking enough Water (12 other symptoms) or could indicate Allergies (33 other symptoms). If greasy, fatty foods cause you to have headaches and/or nausea, or if most foods seem to give you gas or bloating, then you might have to pay more attention to your Liver (15 other symptoms).

Acne could be related to low Essential Fatty Acid (17 other symptoms) levels or a Vitamin A deficiency (18 other symptoms). There are many other questions in the analysis questionnaire that explore your possible symptoms in detail. On this page are just a few examples of the possible nutritional imbalances that relate to symptoms that occur in the head area. Remember that having one or two symptoms does not necessarily mean that you have any of the associated nutritional imbalances. Rather, it is first necessary (via a complete analysis) to inventory all of your body's symptoms in order to establish a baseline symptom level that is normal for you -- because everyone has a different "normal" level of symptoms. Once that is done, I take into account any additional information that you might have sent me (via the comment boxes in the questionnaire) and compare your level of symptoms occurring in any particular area with your baseline to determine where deficiencies/imbalances should be declared. I next prepare your chart, analysis and recommendations. They reflect the relative seriousness of your imbalances, and give you specific help correcting them -- via diet and/or supplements (if necessary).

As well, your recommendations will contain detailed nutritional advice should you require help to lose weight, quit smoking, fight depression, etc.
